Chemical Process Design (CPD) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that covers the broad field of chemical engineering, published by the University of Sistan and Baluchestan and is scientifically sponsored by the Iranian Association of Chemical Engineering (AIChE). It focuses on new developments in process planning and scheduling, systematic design, and optimization models, as well as the application of systems technology to chemical engineering challenges. News: According to the latest report published by the Islamic World Science and Technology Institute (ISC), the Chemical Process Design journal (in the engineering branch) was upgraded from no quarter to Q4.

Based on the official evaluation by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, the Chemical Process Design journal (categorized under engineering) was awarded Rank B for three consecutive years—1401, 1402, and 1403.
